Bee Buzz

  • Helps us calm ourself down
  • The quiet “buzzz” or “hmmm” sound is soothing
  • The long exhale triggers our parasympathetic nervous system (our body’s ‘rest and digest’ system)
  • Anxiety is often associated with short, tight upper-chest breathing.  Slowing the breathing and lengthening your outward breaths reduces our body’s ‘fight or flight’ impulse and helps our body get rid of excess carbon dioxide, both of which help us to relax.

Uses

  • Use Bee Breath at times when you feel stressed, worried or anxious.  It will help you feel more calm, relaxed and happy.
