Use this as a transition activity before handwriting or fine motor tasks. It will prime the intrinsic muscles of the hand, to improve handwriting and fine motor task performance.
Instructions
Straighten all your fingers
Bring your thumb, middle finger and ring finger together (like a pointy dog’s snout)
Point your other two fingers up (like a dog’s ears pricked up)
Move these two fingers back and forth (like a dog’s ears carefully listening to sounds from all around them)
