Pigeon Pose

  • Stretches glutes (buttocks) and lower back
  • Improves pelvic mobility
  • Assists with maintaining good posture while sitting cross legged

Uses

  • Pigeon Pose is a wonderful stretch for children and us adults alike!  Ahhh :)
  • It stretches our lower back and buttocks, which tighten when we’ve been sitting for long periods.
  • We don’t even need to get up from our chair for Pigeon Pose – hence it’s quick and easy to do, even in the smallest of classrooms.
  • This is a helpful stretch for children to do before sitting cross legged on the floor.
